Sometimes more modern photographs suffer from problems caused by over exposure, poor handling or storing, incorrect depth of focus (where the background is too sharp and competes with the subject for attention), poor composition and of course the ubiquitous and annoying red eye. We use the latest enhancement techniques which means that most photographs can be wholly or substantially improved.

Photo Enhancement Services

  • Removal of red eye
  • Removal of blemishes (artifacts) introduced during the developing process
  • Enhancing brightness and contrast
  • Correcting Colour Balance
  • Correcting depth of focus problems (placing the emphasis in the photograph where it should be)
  • Improving composition

It has become popular to place those disposable cameras on tables at weddings and it is easy to see why. It’s easy for the bride and groom to miss some of the funny, silly or touching moments at their reception. But so often these photos are slightly disappointing when developed. Apart from the fact that everyone has red eye, composition is not always at it’s best (possibly due to the copious quantities of wine imbibed by the amateur photographer and guest attempting the shot!) and of course there are also the limitations of the camera itself. Yet among these photos are often little gems which deserve to be preserved.

At PartArt we offer a full after wedding enhancement service of these shots. We can improve composition, depth of focus and colour balance and remove red eye.

We can then simply return the images to you or if you’d like we can mount them in a photograph album. We think that the nicest way to display them though is in one of our montages. It would make a lovely memento of the day. Perhaps the bridesmaids and best man might like one too?
